How can one become a Pastor of an independent Christian church?

Mutual Help asked:

I mean, a Pastor of a church that is not part of any religious organizations or denominations.

Of course, one has to go to school first. But can one become a Pastor, for example, by taking Christian religious courses at a university like UCLA, and then be permitted to become a founder of a church?

Thank you all.

Cory

It does not require a college degree to be a religious pastor.

I met a missionary with a degree from a bible college (pentecostal). I asked him if Gandhi went to heaven. HE DID NOT KNOW WHO GANDHI WAS!!!!

In many churches there are ministers that are self ordained. That have no college at all.
