Well, that’s one way to get this country turned…& why I am not voting for him for anything.

It’s well documented that Obama has never been a Muslim. In fact he pretty much eschewed all religious faiths until he became a Christian. I find it interesting that those who keep touting this theory never have anything to point to in order to back it up. There hasn’t been one person that’s come forward and said “Hey, Obama was practicing Islam during this time” or anything like it. Never anyone even claiming to have seen him entering a mosque or expressing Muslim ideas. Not from his childhood, not from his teenage years, not from his college days, or thereafter. Nothing, nada, zip. Just theories made up out of thin air because of his father who was never around, and his stepfather – who, frankly, couldn’t be much of a radical Muslim if he married an avowed atheist.

You could not be more misinformed. I challenge you to find ONE statement from Obama where he says he was ever a Muslim. Please stop spreading such deliberate misinformation. Here is something directly from his website:

Obama went to Islamic schools in Indonesia for however many years (between 6-10 years). He was a Muslim, but converted to Christianity. Saying there is no proof he was a Muslim is just not true … he has even admitted it.

Personally, I don’t care if he used to be a Taoist … even if he was still a Muslim does that really make a difference? Are we going to make our presidential candidate take a religious litmus test …? All I need to know is that he will defend the Constitution and not interject his own religious beliefs (whatever they may be) into the office of the President.

Edit: Obama rather touts the fact he USED TO BE Muslim, and converted to Christianity when he is courting the Christian vote. Those are his own words …
