Kenneth Copeland Ministry is a Christian Organization founded by Ken Copeland, a local of Lubbock, Texas, and a former recording artist. The idea of establishing a Christian organization emerged when Ken Copeland met Oral Roberts, a co-pilot and the founder of a university where he enrolled in. He then proceeded to become a Christian as he termed it, and developed his own Christian ministry to its fullest.
The Christian organization became eminent in 1970s, which later on branched out internationally in the lands of Australia, Africa, Canada, United Kingdom and Ukraine. He then also began a television program called “Believer’s Voice of Victory” in 1979. Because of the fast adaptation of the population, even the prison inmates of almost 23 countries became fully loyal.
In the face of popularity as a writer, televangelist and the founder of these ministries, he still was subjected under condemnation by some of the analysts. They questioned his true intentions and would link up his objectives to the likes of money-spinning and earthly agendas.
In the succeeding years, in over 120 countries, it has produced bountiful of believers. Service centers and other facilities were built to house broken families, orphans, abandoned children and out-of-school youth. This move gained praises and recognition from prominent social organizations most especially from the church.
These projects became witnesses in the development of the outlook of the housed candidates. It has created a healthy, peaceful and loving environment which shaped the members to become ideal Christians. They even searched remote areas, making sure not to neglect the ones living there. Together, they were able to uplift the way of living of the people who once experienced a downfall in their lives.
Later still, they had trained counselors who takes care of lost individuals and to further educate and introduce moral values to them. These individuals mostly come from the population of the youth and adults who are currently involved in a relationship.
Adult-counseling was also given attention to. In the first years, they focused more on curing defunct relationships, because they believe that this is the main reason why there are a growing number of teenagers who engage themselves in violence. They also put an emphasis on the real meaning of the teachings and not to just memorize the words verbatim. Issues about faith and wealth were raised and were efficiently supplemented with Bible verses.
As time goes by, the ministry enhances their objectives to create a more devoted group who practice and share true Christian-living. Slowly, questions about their practices went down and members were observed to be fulfilled and more willing to contribute for the others to experience peace too. Evangelism, indeed, is the word that brought millions of followers in a place where everything else is in good shape of spirituality.
