Many people own mood rings, but they have absolutely no clue as to what any of the colors mean. These colors, however, can provide you with valuable insights on how you are feeling. If you need useful information on mood ring color meanings and how you can find out what each color means, this article can help.

The meanings of mood ring colors usually deal with similar topics. They have largely been designed to give you greater insights into how you are feeling, so you can have a chance to reflect upon yourself and your feelings. This gives you the chance to change your behaviors if you are noticing that you are feeling too anxious or on edge too frequently, for example.

The rings work by responding to physical changes in your body. If your body temperature rises or falls, for example, the ring will change its color to reflect this change. Many people believe that the body’s temperature provides clues as to what a person is feeling emotionally.

For some people, mood rings provide them with a greater connection to their spirituality. The colors used by the rings can be connected to the chakras, which are recognized by Eastern cultures, and there may be a connection to Western religions, such as Christianity. According to some people, the color of the ring denotes the aura.

Some of the colors you might see on a ring include green, blue, yellow, and red. Each of these colors holds its own specific meaning. For instance, blue may mean that you are feeling very relaxed and calm, while green may mean that you’re going through a healing process of some type. Red, on the other hand, may indicate that you’re feeling either very passionate or angry.

The best place to find really detailed mood ring color meanings is on the Web. There are now quite a few subjects that discuss the meanings of the colors as well as the history behind the rings. You might even be able to find books in some bookstores.

Teens live in a sexually charged culture that promotes and glorifies teen sex in order to sell products. However nearly 70% of high school age teens are virgins. This study shows teens have the capacity for self control.

This idea is backed up in a study published in the October issue of the Journal of Sexual Medicine. The study surveyed 820 adolescents nationwide via the Internet, a confidential method the researchers say is more likely to produce honest answers compared to a face-to-face or phone interview. Parents had to give consent.

The study found that 69.7 percent of boys and 68.4 percent of girls ages 16-17 have never had intercourse. Among 14-14 year olds the percentage is even higher – 90.1 percent for boys and 87.6 percent for girls.

This shows that the abstinence movement is alive and well. The idea that teens can’t control themselves and that condoms are the only solution is refuted by the facts. Most teens are not sexually active. Teens will respond positively to an abstinence message.

In response to the study, Richard Ross, cofounder of the True Love Waits movement, stated, “Less than a third of high schoolers have ever had sex. And that includes large numbers who only have had sex once. Also, consider that more that 60 percent of sexually experienced teenagers regret what they have done. Combining those figures reveals that only a small segment of American teenagers are committed to a sexual lifestyle.”

This study shows that the perception that everyone is doing it is false. Congress and the administration should take into account studies that show the majority of teens are not having sex. Congress and the administration cut all abstinence centered programs despite multiple studies that showed abstinence education works.

Jimmy Hester, co-founder of the True Love Waits movement stated, in response to the study, “Our experience with True Love Waits over the past 17 years have shown willingness on the part of students to consider waiting until marriage to have sex. Once teens understand the reasons behind sexual abstinence until marriage, and recognize the severe consequence when not practiced, most are willing to commit to waiting.”

The facts tell us that teens are capable of waiting and that they will respond to an abstinence message. They are open to waiting to have sex. According to Ross, “Weather they do or not depends on which voices and influences around them are the strongest.

Keith Deltano is a Christian Speaker that performs at True Love Waits youth rallies throughout the nation. He is a exciting and energetic youth speaker

Have you ever found yourself missing out on a great opportunity just because you have a lack of self esteem? Have you ever panicked that you could not do well at a job interview, even you are fully capable for the post?

If so, you should understand that building self esteem is one of the most essential steps you can take to realize your true Self and towards your personal growth. Having high self confidence usually indicates that you are in alignment with your true Self and therefore makes it so much easier to realize the things you want in your life!

If you do not want to miss out on another great opportunity and live the life you want, here are three strategies for building self esteem.

1. Listen To Your Own Voice About Who You Are

The first step to building self esteem is learning to rely on your own opinion about your Self. This act of self reliance will help you connect with your inner power. If you do not rely on your own opinion about your worth, you are letting other people or the external environment shape who you are. Then, even you try hard to raise your self esteem, your efforts will be brought down because you are relying on the outer opinions to tell you who you are.

Everybody in the world is at different level faced with disapproval from other people. Some people rely on their own thoughts about their Self and these people are usually remarkable. They are not giving the exterior environment the power to shape who they are.

TIPS: Practice this strategy by constantly watching your thoughts. Be alert when you find yourself being brought down by other peoples opinions. This practice is very helpful in stopping the self-degrading pattern and starting the process of improving self esteem.

2. Identify a Particular Purpose

Building self esteem is all about directing your energy to a particular goal or purpose. When you know what your goal is, you are displaying a sense of determination, which is a symbol of positive self esteem.

Try to think of some people you know that appear to be indecisive. Most of the time, these people do not have a specific purpose in life, and that’s why they lack security which is an indication of low self esteem.

Finding or setting a life purpose is challenging for some people at first. However, be assured that, once you begin to practice relying on your own counsel about your self worth, you will not be affected by the outside circumstances as you would before. At this state, you will find it easier to find your own purpose in life.

PRACTICE: Start writing about your purpose. Don’t stress if you can’t seem to think of anything at the beginning. Just keep writing whatever thoughts that come to your mind. Gradually you will notice that some of the thoughts start to clarify. Next thing you know, you already have set a purpose for yourself.

3. Change What You Talk To Yourself

Whether you notice it or not, what you think and say to yourself will directly shape your self esteem. Remember the last time you say something good to somebody to boost their confidence? Or the last time you say something discouraging to someone and how it brought him/her down? Do you know that you are doing the same thing to yourself? The only difference is that what you do to yourself is of greater magnitude, whether it’s good or bad. This is because you are talking and listening to yourself every minute, every second, every day. These unconscious behavior is more powerful in building up or bringing down your self esteem.

Therefore, the most powerful way to start building self esteem is changing what you talk to yourself through positive affirmations.

EXERCISE: Just ask yourself how you would talk to someone else if you wanted to boost their self confidence. Take the same dialogue and read it to yourself every day. You can also look in the mirror and look yourself in the eye while reading it, for much faster results.

Now go try these simple strategies. With practice and consistency, you’ll be building self esteem and realizing your purpose of life that you always wanted.

We are 3-part beings – Body, Soul, and Spirit.

If anything is off balance within either of the thirds, the entire being is affected. Much like a 3-legged table. If one leg is shorter than the others, the table leans or topples over.

It is our task to keep these 3 entities in balance. Our body’s health should be maintained with good eating habits and proper exercise. Our soul, which is our mind, will, and emotions, must be utilized and fed a healthy exercises, as well. The spirit is the eternal part of us that must be fed spiritual food.

Our body is the suit that encapsulates our soul and spirit. It is the flesh, created out of dust. This is the temple in which our spirit resides. In order for it to operate at an optimal capacity, we have to do certain things. Proper nutrition and exercise are two key ingredients.

Exercising improves our overall well-being and enhances the functioning of the soul. Our mind is exercised with daily activity. Our thoughts and imaginations should be expanded, as well. Though we shouldn’t operate as emotional beings, our emotions do play a key role in our mental balance.

Our spirit is the part of us that connects with the Creator. It has to be nurtured and fed as well. A steady diet of the Word and worship will keep it healthy.

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to combine all of these facets into one activity?

There are so many different ways to get involved in yoga. Some of them are harder than others, but they all agree in one thing: They are great ways to expand what you are capable of, both physically and spiritually. These are a few of the different types you might be exposed to as you explore the possibilities of yoga.

Yoga: Common types and styles

Ananda is the first style of yoga for the beginning practitioner. It is relatively simple and requires very little in the way of advance preparation by the person trying it out.

Kundalini is the next type of yoga to learn. It was one of the first to come west from yoga’s origins. It involves a whole lot of controlled, deep breathing exercises.

Bikram is another basic set of exercises classified as yoga. It is most often done in a controlled, heated setting which allows muscles to become more flexible and allowing the body to pose better.

Astanga is the next style of yoga, this one more commonly referred to as power yoga. It is for the practiced yoga master who is able to maintain strength and position over time.

Alignment is the key to Kripalu, a style of yoga focused on the alignment of the body and on meditative poses. It takes a lot of concentration to do it properly.

Integral yoga is another style, this one very good for the beginner and the advanced person. It takes very little effort to modify the basic setups and positions to suit yourself.

The craft of Anasura yoga fixtures mostly on the spiritual realm, and less on the ability of the body to pose itself over time. It is very critical of body alignment as well.

This writer additionally regularly blogs regarding subject such as auto shop paint and auto touch up paint.

Has there been a time in your life where you felt frustrated with trying so hard to reach your goals? You want to see some changes in your life but you can’t seem to do it. Perhaps your fears are holding you back. Then it’s time to change your mindset the new psychology of success.

The “Five Fears of Success” are:

1. Fear of the unknown. “I don’t know what it would be like to be in a loving relationship or successful career.”

Downloading binaural beats and purchasing CD’s wit binaural tones has become quite popular in recent years. That is as a result of the countless benefits that binaural tones have on meditation. As far more people start to gain first hand knowledge of the benefits of this meditation style, they’re achieving a much deeper meditative experience overall as well as shifting their state of consciousness very quickly.

Even though these sound waves have caused a large number of men and women to entirely transform the way that they practice their meditation, there are, nonetheless, those that are not completely comfortable with this style of meditating. Those who usually are not comfortable normally tend not to understand precisely how binaural beats function. Let us clarify that here.

Binaural beats are a kind of brain entrainment. This basically means that these beats have the potential to shift the natural brainwave styles and patterns that we naturally have. We all have particular brain pattern designs that we follow on a normal basis. We adhere to these designs simply because our brains are programmed to follow these patterns. When an individual listens to binaural beats while meditating, the normal brainwave patterns will transfer. When the habits of our brains are changed, a alteration will occur in our minds, in our body, and in our mental state.

This really is thrilling! As a result of the shift, we can virtually change our consciousness. This shift in awareness can heal us both emotionally and physically. Many people use binaural beats to change consuming mental routines, to shed bodyweight, to go into deeper states of meditation, to manifest their goals, to improve self confidence, and to generate a multitude of other mental adjustments which will enable them to drastically change their lives.

Those who don’t want to transfer their awareness may well use binaural beats to enhance sleep, to experience lucid dreaming, to become extra calm, or to simply increase their total wellness. Research has also shown that certain brainwave styles contain the capacity to accelerate understanding, improve each mental and spiritual growth, and remove unfavorable emotions associated with traumatic past scenarios. Binaural beats allows anybody to enter deep meditative states in a matter of minutes. All that is needed are stereo headphones plus a binaural beat track, and any person can experience shifting of consciousness and altering their lives.

You have to be willing to recover in order to recover. It sounds simplistic but it’s true. Whatever the addiction, whatever the situation, you can do it, but only if you are willing to take the steps that are necessary.

The basis of willingness to recover is being able to accomplish something without being forced and being capable of doing it of your own volition. That is instead of an outside force pressuring you to do it. There are seven factors for measuring willingness.

The Seven Factors for Determining Willingness to Recover:

1. Honesty: You absolutely have to be willing to be honest, with yourself and with the people working with you. You have to be willing to say that you have no power over your situation.

2. Action: You will have to be able and capable of working through the generic twelve steps program and do it without fighting against it. You may have to attend all sorts of meetings, but it’s worth it.

3. Trust: You will have to trust that the people around you, dictating your life for a while, are doing it with the best intentions in mind. They want you to succeed.

4. Follow the Program: You have to follow the rules of whatever program you are in. It isn’t up to you to make the decisions anymore, because your decisions will be harmful to your life.

5. Belief: You must be able to believe that you are going to succeed in whatever program it is that you are partaking of. You have to believe in a higher power that will help you get to a healthy place.

6. Willingness to Join: You must be able to join group interactions. There is no way to do this thing alone. You have to have the support of as many people as you can. There are people there for that.

The 7 Chakras are known in Sanskrit as metaphysical centres of energy that are responsible for the energy flow throughout our bodies. Learning methods of chakra healing such as meditation and energy balancing can revitalise this life force flow through both the physical and spiritual bodies.

Common techniques are working with the chakras and core energy include conscious breathing, body-work, and visualisation. Usually a combination of these techniques can prove effective for chakra balancing. However you may find one technique more effective than others and sometimes this is a matter of personal preference.

Learning conscious breathing techniques can be important in balancing of energy. In Sanskrit terms, the breath is synonymous with energy flow — by regulating our breathing we can learn to regulate the flow of energy through our bodies. Most of the time we don’t think about breathing, however conscious breathing involves actually bringing our attention to the process.

Concentrating on specific energy centre in our bodies can also help activate that centre with our awareness. You might have heard the phrase “where attention goes, energy flows”, this is certainly true in chakra balancing. By consciously focusing on a particular chakra for example, you will be able to learn how to activate it with intention alone.

One particular technique that works well for a number of people involves visualising a specific type of energy flowing through your body. Visualisation can be incredibly powerful technique for working with certain types of energy and activating chakras. Learning to use visualisation effectively involves training yourself to create sharper and more detailed images in your mind than a typical daydreaming state.

In this article we covered three basic techniques for working with energy and chakras. Chakra healing is an interesting process that I believe anyone can benefit from learning. Obviously we have just scratched the surface here, and there is much more to learn about the chakras and their significance in our lives.
